What inspired the creation of the Generation Shaper Awards, and what is the greater vision behind this international initiative?
OWEN SP SANCHEZ
“I believe that the world does not change through recognition alone; it changes when recognition inspires action. The Generation Shaper Awards were conceived around a powerful idea: to celebrate Women & Men whose vision, courage, and contributions are helping shape a better future for humanity.
Our vision extends beyond a ceremony or a title. We aspire to build an international platform where achievement meets purpose, where leadership becomes a responsibility, and where inspiring stories encourage others to create meaningful change.
Ultimately, we are not simply honouring the people shaping our generation—we are inspiring the generations that will follow.”
The title ‘Generation Shaper’ carries a powerful meaning. What does it represent to you personally?
OWEN SP SANCHEZ
“To me, a Generation Shaper is someone who understands that influence is not measured by how many people know your name, but by how many lives become better because of what you do.
A true Generation Shaper leads with integrity, thinks beyond personal success, and has the courage to challenge limitations. They do not wait for the world to change; they become part of the change. And perhaps the most beautiful measure of leadership is this:
“When your work continues to inspire others long after your own moment in the spotlight has passed.”
The Generation Shaper Awards celebrate not only MEN but also WOMEN making a meaningful impact. Why is recognising women’s achievements so important today?
OWEN SP SANCHEZ
“Recognising women is not about giving women a voice—they have always had one. It is about ensuring that their voices are heard, respected, and represented wherever decisions are made.
Women continue to contribute enormously to business, education, science, culture, humanitarian work, and community development. Their achievements deserve recognition not as exceptions to the rule, but as essential contributions to our shared progress.
When we celebrate a woman who breaks a barrier, we also help make that barrier easier for the next woman to overcome.

What qualities distinguish a genuine Generation Shaper from someone who simply enjoys professional success or public recognition?
OWEN SP SANCHEZ
“Success may earn you attention, but character earns you respect!”
For me, a genuine Generation Shaper embodies integrity, vision, resilience, compassion, and a commitment to making a difference beyond personal ambition.
Achievements certainly matter, but we must also ask: What challenges has this person helped overcome? Whose lives have they positively influenced? What example are they setting for the next generation?
A title should never be the destination; it should be a reflection of purpose. The most deserving leaders are those who understand that recognition is not merely an honour to receive, but a responsibility to uphold.”
How can women’s leadership help create a more innovative, inclusive, and progressive world?
OWEN SP SANCHEZ
“Progress becomes more powerful when leadership reflects the diversity of the people it serves. Women bring valuable perspectives, experiences, and approaches to problem-solving that strengthen organisations, communities, and nations.
When women have equal opportunities to lead, we expand the possibilities for innovation, improve representation, and create environments where talent can flourish without unnecessary barriers.
I believe the future should not be a competition between men and women; it should be a collaboration of capable minds and compassionate hearts.

How do the Generation Shaper Awards inspire young women to pursue their ambitions and overcome obstacles?
OWEN SP SANCHEZ
“Sometimes, all a young woman needs, is to see someone who has walked a difficult path and realise that her own dreams are possible. Representation makes ambition tangible.
By sharing the journeys of accomplished women, the Generation Shaper Awards can help transform inspiration into confidence and confidence into action. These stories remind young women that setbacks are not verdicts on their potential, that rejection is not the end of the journey, and that courage often begins before confidence arrives.
My message to every YOUNG Woman is simple: never make your dreams smaller merely to make other people more comfortable. Prepare yourself, believe in your potential, and let your achievements speak with both confidence and humility.”
As International Ambassador, how important is cross-cultural collaboration in bringing the Generation Shaper message to a global audience?
OWEN SP SANCHEZ
“International collaboration is essential because inspiration has no passport, and leadership has no single cultural identity.
Every nation has individuals whose contributions deserve to be seen and whose stories can teach us something valuable. By bringing different cultures, perspectives, and experiences together, we create opportunities for understanding, partnership, and shared progress.
As International Ambassador, I see my role as helping connect people, ideas, and communities through a common purpose. Our backgrounds may differ, our languages may vary, and our journeys may be unique—but our desire to leave the world better than we found it is universal.
The true achievement of an international platform is not simply reaching more countries; it is building meaningful connections between the people who can make a difference in them.”
What role can the Hellenic Los Angeles Media Network play in amplifying the achievements and stories of Generation Shapers?
OWEN SP SANCHEZ
“Media has the extraordinary ability to turn an individual story into a global conversation. When used with integrity and vision, it does more than report achievements—it gives those achievements context, meaning, and the power to inspire.
A platform such as the Hellenic Los Angeles Media Network can help bridge communities, introduce audiences to remarkable individuals, and bring important stories to people who may never otherwise encounter them.
I believe responsible storytelling should do three things: inform the mind, touch the heart, and encourage action. When media highlights not only what people have achieved but also the values and perseverance behind those achievements, recognition becomes something much greater than publicity.

“My hope for the Generation Shaper Awards 2026 is that it becomes more than a memorable international celebration. I want it to serve as a meaningful meeting point for visionaries, changemakers, entrepreneurs, women leaders, and individuals committed to creating a better future.
I hope every recipient leaves with a deeper sense of responsibility, every guest leaves with a renewed sense of possibility, and every person who hears these stories feels encouraged to take meaningful action in their own community.
For me, the greatest success will not be measured solely by the scale of the event or the prestige of its honours. It will be measured by the conversations it starts, the partnerships it encourages, and the positive actions it inspires long after the celebrations conclude.

Looking to the future, what is your vision for the Generation Shaper Awards, and what message would you leave with the next generation of women leaders?
OWEN SP SANCHEZ
“My vision is for the Generation Shaper Awards to continue growing as an internationally recognised platform that celebrates meaningful achievement, encourages responsible leadership, and connects people who are committed to positive change.
I would love to see its influence extend beyond the stage through stronger international partnerships, inspiring mentorship opportunities, and initiatives that encourage future generations to turn ambition into contribution.
And to the next generation of women leaders, I would say this: do not measure your worth by the limitations others place upon you, and do not confuse being recognised with being valuable.

Lead with intelligence, stand with integrity, and remain compassionate even when the world rewards competition over kindness. You do not need to wait for permission to make a difference. Start where you are, use what you have, and become the example you once needed to see.
Because the future is not simply something we inherit. It is something we shape—and the most meaningful legacy is not the success we achieve for ourselves, but the possibilities we create for those who come after us.”
