The Hellenic Los Angeles Media Network is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. George Alexander Kenich as its International Ambassador for Sustainability, Green Innovation & Smart Cities.
Dr. George Alexander Kenich is internationally recognized as one of the world's leading experts in sustainable cities development, renewable energy, smart infrastructure and green innovation. His distinguished career spans more than three decades of leadership in major international development and infrastructure projects.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kenich has directed the planning, implementation and delivery of world-renowned projects including Masdar City, Yas Island, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Al Raha Beach Development, Central Market, Motor World, and numerous landmark developments across the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan.
He is an internationally respected specialist in sustainable urban development, renewable energy systems, climate resilience, smart infrastructure and future cities. His work has contributed significantly to the advancement of green technologies and environmentally responsible development around the world.
Dr. Kenich has received 18 international awards for innovation in renewable energy, including solar, wind, biomass, hydrogen, fuel cells and hybrid energy systems. His achievements include Gold Medals awarded by the Government of China and the prestigious Global Innovation Award 2016 presented by the Government of the United Arab Emirates.
He has served as a Guest Lecturer at Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD), teaching Sustainable Cities and Sustainable Infrastructure. Internationally recognized as the "Green City Guru," he has played a key role in supporting Abu Dhabi's Green Economic Vision 2030.
As an international keynote speaker and conference chairman, Dr. Kenich has represented the field of sustainability at major international forums throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
