For 21 years, the Cyprus International Film
Festival (CYIFF) has actively supported Cypriot artistic creativity, giving a
prominent place and platform to Cypriot and foreign photographers.
Over the years, the Festival has showcased both group and solo photography exhibitions,
highlighting the contemporary Cypriot photographic perspective and building bridges
between photography, cinema, and other art forms. For CYIFF, photography serves as yet another medium of storytelling: an image can tell a story,
preserve a moment, reveal what we might otherwise overlook, and foster a dialogue between the artist and the audience.Through its exhibitions, the Festival seeks to provide a platform for both established and emerging artists,
fostering the outward-looking nature of Cypriot photography and its connection to an international artistic audience. For more information about the festival’s program and its activities,
