Orlando Simiele and His Literary Journey Towards the International Academic Lifetime Achievement Award for Poetry and Literature
A literary journey between poetry, culture, journalism and international recognition.
Born in Caserta on March 12, 1986 and raised in Persano, a hamlet of the municipality of Serre (SA), Orlando Simiele emerges as one of the most interesting voices in contemporary Italian poetry. Since adolescence, writing has been for him a tool for introspection: he jots down reflections and verses in simple personal diaries, marking the beginning of a literary vocation that has consolidated over time.
His first poetry collection, "Frammenti d'Amore" (Fragments of Love) (2016), published by Il Saggio, marks the beginning of a journey that continues in 2018 with "La Fonte della Vita" (The Source of Life), with the same publishing house.
Initially linked to rhymed couplets, Simiele evolves towards a more fluid and introspective poetic prose, focused on themes such as love, spirituality and personal experience. His style combines analytical depth and expository clarity, with a cultured but accessible language, without lapsing into sentimentality.
Simiele's path is marked by numerous national and international awards. Among the most important are literary prizes in Cairo and Bern, the Honorary Doctorate in Philology and Literary Criticism from the Dynastic University Academic Institute, and his inclusion in the Wikipoesia portal for his significant contribution to contemporary poetry.
On February 6, 2026, he was included in the Golden Roll as co-founder, obtaining a certificate of Poetic Encyclopedicity on March 21, 2026.
In 2025 he received in Mexico an Honorary Degree in Literature from the Federación Global de Liderazgo y Alta Inteligencia, an award that underlines the impact of his work not only literary, but also cultural and social.
Recently, on July 27, 2026, through the International President, His Serene Highness Dr. Roberto Schiavone di Favignana, he obtained a prestigious international lifetime achievement award for poetry and literature Hippocrates Primus Magister (Hippocrates First Teacher) from the Noble Academy Corpus Hippocraticum of Studies and Research of Salerno, in addition to various other honorary academic and meritorious titles issued by the same great President.
In addition to poetry, Simiele has an intense journalistic and cultural activity. He collaborates with newspapers and portals such as La Voce agli Italiani of Cosenza and CefaluArt, intertwining personal reflection and social analysis.
His articles, including "Nelle danze d'una terra di speranze" (In the dances of a land of hopes) and "Paradiso perduto" (Lost paradise - Loss and search for a forgotten inner peace), show his ability to observe the world with lucidity and sensitivity.
He lives in France, near Geneva, but maintains a strong bond with his roots. His work promotes universal human values: solidarity, brotherhood and intercultural dialogue.
The coherence between thought and action, combined with rigor and passion, makes Simiele an example of how young age can become a resource, and not a limit.
